Attitude of Gratitude

How many times have we caught ourselves complaining?
may it be for bad food at home,Traffic congestion, smaller house, longer work duration, lack of facilities,etc..
Answer you might get is "Quite Frequently".
Why is that we count more troubles than our blessings?
probably the environment we have been brought up? Or as simple as "human nature"?
Its not that we cannot change it, but we resist change.we find comfort in complaining rather than counting our blessings.
Few days ago I read a mail on Stephen Covey's 90/10 Principle: "10 % of life is What happens to you & 90 % on how you react to it".
How true. The above said problems is there for everyone, but we have found comfort in complaining rather than accepting & Changing them.I would say , If you are complaining about something then you are not aware of the outer world.
We complain about bad food but we don't know that millions of people sleep hungry not for a day but for several weeks.
We complain of lack of money( in spite of earning sufficient amount) but we are unaware of the fact that 77% of Indian's are earning just RS 30/- per day. Not just for them but for their entire family.
If we go deep searching for the reason for our behavior of complaining, we find none other ತಂ ourselves as guilty. We take our close ones to be GRANTED.
May it be our parents who take care of us every moment,
friends
who support us in our decisions,
collegue
who encourages to work better,
or may it be GOD who gave us this wonderful world, beautiful relations (like parents,Friends), good health, roof to protect from rain n sunshine, clothes to wear, food to eat.
Not all will be lucky to get them. WE ARE.
So lets Thank everyone who has helped us even once. Lets develop the attitude of gratitude to count our blessings every moment than to count our troubles
